Thanks again for helping me stay awake for my obligation to my donors and I had an outstanding time as well. Learned a lot about this generation of Nintendo which I was completely clueless on!

We had a blast playing through all of those games and we really hope all of you did as well. We’ll definitely have to do something like that again before Extra Life next year, but it probably won’t be as long. Maybe a 6 hour marathon of something one weekend.

I’d also like to do a community Mario Kart event or something and get a bunch of people together to play the game again. Those always seem to be a big hit with people.

Extra Life Empty Dead Space

Post  Gil Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:56 pm

i think Dead Space can be finished in a little over 6 hrs. I think that would be a good marathon game Very Happy That or Resident Evil 5. Then we can duo up also. 6-8 hrs campaign is about the right length in a game to me. That and additional hours for side missions and extra time to level up is perfect. So something like a 9 hour campaign and if you want to go back and clean up your trophies/achievements, you can do it in about 17-18 hrs total.
I'll try to think of other games that would be about 6 hrs to finish up. Or some games that we can all join up for.

We’re kinda limited in that respect as we don’t do streams of M rated games. We made a small exception during Extra Life because it was five thirty in the morning and there was little chance of a small child walking in on that.

M rated games have to be treated very carefully. There are age gates for video content that are many times required to protect younger internet goers and screenshots have to be carefully done.

We generally will keep any video content like that to a T rating or less. That’s why there haven’t been any M rated Go Rounds, even though at least one has been recorded. We’re deciding the best way to get it out to people that would want to see it.

Extra Life Empty Ahh yes

Don't even know why but that M rated thing didn't even cross my mind. I am always concerned about that stuff at home with 2 kids but for some reason it just skipped my mind. I will absolutely keep that in mind... Katamari Damacy. Very VERY catchy tunes and totally crazy gameplay. Just a thought.
