Wasn't sure if this belongs here or the podcast section because you discussed this there and is the reason I'm writing this.

You were wondering how you could play this all the time... Well here goes.

1. It's like any game where you collect stuff. The ultimate goal is to collect everything. Sucks away your life.
2. The Happy Room Academy (HRA) - Always trying to get a better score from decking out your home. Always trying to compete with your kids for the best House Decorating score.
3. Back to #1+#2. Trying to collect full sets of furniture as you get better scores from the HRA.
4. Collecting all fish.
5. Collecting all Paintings.
6. Collecting all insects.
7. Collecting special items. Things you can't order from your Nookington's catalog when you have found it. Those rare Nintendo items Smile
8. Enjoying holiday specific events to get full sets of furniture. (during winter if you make a perfect snowman, he'll send you a piece of snowman furniture). You can do this each day during the winter until there isn't anymore snow.
9. Making bells via Turnip trading in the Stalk Market. Sundays a crazy turnip loving animal walks around selling turnips. Monday - Saturday Tom nook will buy turnips at different prices. You can make lots of money this way for buying low and selling high.

List goes on and on. enjoy it.

I'll have to keep this in mind when I'm playing the game. I know all the little money making things you can do in Harvest Moon games, but this one is complete foreign to me. I really want a bigger set of pockets so I can carry more stuff. I already know the trick about attaching things to letters, but I don't have any other storage of any kind yet that I can put things in. I did go to the auction house and found out I can store things there and I put some stuff in there till I need them again.

The game is... time consuming to say the least. But in no means a bad way. Except if you consider that you'll lose loved ones from not giving them any attention Laughing

But really, the deeper you dig, the harder it is to escape.

I have not seen the turnip salesmen, but Jake has. He hasn’t bought anything from him because he didn’t know what he did. I told him what was going on, though about buying turnips and selling them for more money.

I am putting out a call of Gyroids. All shapes and sizes. Jake wants to collect them all and I’m sending them to him as I find them. If anyone has any spare gyroids laying around that you would be willing to part with let me know.

I just paid off my first loan to Tom Nook and expanded my house. Now I think I owe him my first born child. At least now I have a little bit of room in the house to actually do something instead of just trying to make a 3x3 square look like a home.. [=^)

Nice going on paying off the first installment to that crook. I'll see what extra gyroids I can scrounge up. Oh and if you need extra space to collect your gyroids, Brewster from the cafe will hold on to them if you befriend him. You'll need to look it up online. I don't recall all the steps it takes to get him to be nice enough to save your gyroids. I think you need to purchase coffee every day for like a week then talk to him with any gyroid in hand. Anyway... just ONE more thing to do in AC Smile
